HR Professionals Need 3 Years to Prepare for AI Impact

According to a survey by Yoho Workplace Strategy, senior HR professionals believe it will take at least three years to prepare for the impact of AI on the workforce. Despite this timeframe, 99% of respondents are optimistic about the benefits AI can bring, including improved decision-making support, increased productivity, automation of routine tasks, and enhanced innovation.

Airbnb Partners With Tourism Ministry to Promote Cultural Tourism and Heritage Stays

Airbnb and India’s Ministry of Tourism have entered into a memorandum of understanding to enhance cultural tourism and promote heritage stays in the country. The partnership aims to help hosts promote their homestays, develop hosting skills, and encourage responsible hosting practices.{}

According to the latest data from the United States National Travel and Tourism Office, India has now become the U.S.’s second-largest international source market, after the UK (excluding Canada and Mexico). In May, the U.S. welcomed 199,364 visitors from India.

Between January and May 2023, Indian arrivals to the U.S. were placed third, after the UK and Germany, with a total of 643,270 arrivals. This number represents a 6 percent increase compared to the pre-Covid arrivals during the same period in 2019, which was a record-breaking year. 

Trevolution Group reported that over 75,000 tickets were sold for travel to and from India and the US in 202, up 432 percent year over year.
