Technical Lead / Senior Backend Developer (NestJS)

We are looking for a Technical Lead / Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of the technical development and continuous improvement of one of our key products, Vagamo.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys working across the full product lifecycle, from understanding business needs and designing solutions to building scalable features, improving performance, and maintaining high-quality code.

You will be the technical owner of the backend platform, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, impactful solutions. The role offers a path toward Technical Lead responsibilities through ownership, technical decisions, and product influence rather than people management.

Responsibilities:

Own backend development and continuous improvement of the Vagamo platform.
Design, build, maintain, and improve scalable software solutions.
Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
Make architectural and technology decisions.
Review code and maintain high standards for quality, performance, and maintainability.
Develop backend services using NestJS / Node.js / TypeScript.
Work with MariaDB and optimize data handling and performance.
Contribute to frontend development with Next.js when needed.
Improve product features, search capabilities, and user experience.
Use AI-powered development tools (such as Claude and similar solutions) to improve engineering productivity.
Support testing, deployment, CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes-based environments.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams.

Requirements:

4–5+ years of backend development experience.
Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS.
Solid understanding of clean code principles, software architecture, and API design and development.
Strong experience with databases, particularly MariaDB.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working with MongoDB and Redis.
Experience developing and deploying applications in cloud-native environments.
Practical experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows.
Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, propose effective solutions, and deliver results.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation:

There is no one-size-fits-all here; we are quite flexible and use an individual approach with every candidate we meet. We offer a salary range of EUR 4,500–5,000 gross per month, with the final offer based on your experience, skills, and interview performance.

Senior Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team and work on multiple travel brands. This role is for a designer who combines strong creative thinking with speed of execution and is comfortable working in a fast, performance-driven marketing environment.

You will develop campaign concepts, create high-impact marketing visuals, and own your tasks from idea to final assets while collaborating closely with marketing managers and the design head.

Responsibilities

Create marketing materials for travel brands: banners, emails, illustrations, social media creatives, and campaigns.
Design motion pieces and animations for campaigns (ads, promos, stories).
Develop visual concepts for marketing campaigns from idea to execution.
Create storyboards and visual guidelines for videographers.
Adapt creatives based on performance data and feedback.
Maintain brand consistency across brands and channels while delivering fresh concepts for new campaigns.
Analyze creative performance and propose improvements to campaigns based on data.
Communicate with marketing managers and the design lead on team workload and task priorities.
Iterate quickly and deliver assets under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Strong experience in marketing design and campaign development.
Concept-driven mindset: we’re looking for a designer who can independently develop a full creative concept for marketing needs — from the core idea to visual execution.
Strong skills in Figma (auto-layouts, components, libraries).
Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
Great knowledge of AI image generation & prompting (ChatGPT/Midjourney/Higgsfield/Nano Banana, etc.).
Understanding of marketing metrics (CTR, conversions, engagement) and ability to use data to improve creatives.

Application Security Engineer

We are looking for an Application Security Engineer to join our IT Research & Development team.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams to help add security to the development process. You will be working in an automation-driven environment, contributing to solutions built from scratch, especially including AI-driven initiatives, and helping secure a large ecosystem of services. This is a hands-on role for someone who understands code, thinks like a developer, and approaches security as an enabler, not a blocker.

Responsibilities:

Integrate and optimize security tools (SAST, SCA, Secret Scanning, etc.) into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins).
Review and validate security findings, making sure developers focus on real, important issues.
Perform threat modeling and review system architecture to identify risks beyond automated tools.
Analyze code to detect and understand security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with engineers and Tech Leads to implement secure, practical solutions.
Promote secure coding practices through guidance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

Ability to read and understand code (PHP, Node.js, or Golang preferred).

Senior Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Android Developer with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) expertise to join our team and help drive multiple high-impact global projects forward within Trevolution. As a Senior Android Developer, you will be responsible for delivering the Dreampass application. You will plan, coordinate, and oversee activities across the entire delivery lifecycle – focusing on the evolution of the backend-driven UI platform, UI test automation, and CI/CD infrastructure. Working closely with the business and key project stakeholders, you’ll ensure alignment, eﬃciency, and high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities:

Develop and continuously improve our Dreampass consumer-facing application, as well as an internal travel agent application—focusing on backend-driven UI architecture and best practices.
Design and implement Android and KMM-based solutions to share business logic across Android and iOS, ensuring scalability and performance.
