Oojo Reaches New Horizons with Its German Market Launch

Oojo, an OTA of Trevolution Group, that focuses on agency sales of airline tickets and travel services, is announcing its official launch in Germany. Previously having operated predominantly in the United States, Canada  and UK, Oojo strategically chooses Germany to be the first country for its expansion in Europe.

Oojo’s strategic decision to expand into the German market results from a range of factors – as one of the largest travel markets in Europe, Germany has a robust demand for both domestic and international travel, additionally, its tech-savvy population is increasingly looking for digital solutions to simplify their travel planning. Germany’s role as a central hub in Europe, with its extensive flight networks connecting to global destinations, made it an ideal choice for launching the product in Germany. This makes Oojo’s tech-driven, independent approach to travel an excellent match for the German market, positioning the country as an ideal base for its further growth across the European continent.

Oojo’s launch in Germany is further strengthened by its partnership with one of the world’s leading travel meta-search platforms, Kayak. Along with its extensive network of brands, including Swoodoo, Momondo, and Checkfelix, Kayak will direct traffic to Oojo’s website, providing German travelers with direct access to a wide variety of booking options.

“A German travel customer is independent, digitally skilled, and holds exceptionally high standards for service quality and reliability. The element of trust in choosing a travel provider plays a huge importance and given this, with over 20 years of experience within our Group and attentive customer service, we believe Oojo is a good fit for the market. The team is excited to offer travelers not only an easy-to-use travel platform but also a seamless, tech-driven experience that aligns with the preference of a German customer for independent travel planning,” said Gulce Karsli Rozenveld, CEO at Oojo.

The new market player Oojo is renowned for its user-friendly interface, which allows travelers to enjoy unbeatable flight deals, real-time quotes, and price-drop alerts. Known for its quick response times and efficient case resolution, the Oojo customer support excellence team offers 24/7 personalized support, ensuring every flight is smooth and well-coordinated.

Oojo’s travel platform offers a wide range of flights, supported by an intuitive interface. The company’s data-driven approach allows customers to receive recommendations, making it easier for them to plan and book their trips with confidence. Rated 4.8 on Trustpilot, Oojo aims to expand its services further across Europe, anticipating over 30% of its sales to be from Europe in the span of 3 years.

Nigeria Emerges as the Leading Region for Attracting Independent Travel Managers

Trevolution Group, the global market leader operating ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, Triplicity, and other major travel brands, has reported Nigeria as the new leading market for attracting Independent Travel Managers on its digital platform Dreamport. The new-generation travel management tool was introduced in April of 2023 in the first launch markets, while Nigeria was among the next test locations where Dreamport was unveiled earlier in 2024. Today, it has expanded massively and is now available to aspiring individuals worldwide. During the first six months, over 30,000 freelancers from across Nigeria have already applied to use Dreamport as a source of everyday income ranking the country among the top-performing regions globally.

“Our leadership team, including myself, started as travel agents, which is why we believe in the transformative force of giving back to make a positive impact across the world. I’m particularly excited to see Nigeria as one of the top-performing markets with highly motivated freelancers who are hungry for learning and ready to take on new opportunities to become all-in-one travel professionals, as there is immense potential across this dynamic region. By providing free, extensive training, as well as flexible and independent freelance opportunities for everyone, we are empowering the next generation of Independent Travel Managers to take control of their careers while tapping into the rapidly growing travel space,” Alex Weinstein, founder of Dyninno Group and Trevolution Group comments.

Dreamport has been developed as a comprehensive digital platform that enables freelancers to become contracted Independent Travel Managers, making it easier to earn freelance income in the travel industry while providing a possibility for earning extra income in developing regions. The platform also offers a complete, free training program that covers a range of topics, including marketing, customer service, travel industry standards, and digital tools. Independent Travel Managers are primarily responsible for delivering outstanding customer service and identifying the best travel routes, international airfare tickets, and auxiliary products that meet each traveler’s preferences. The only requirements for the platform application are a good level of English and a stable internet connection. Dreamport is therefore also suitable for complete beginners, as no previous industry experience or education is required.

Based on Trevolution Group’s airfare sales in 2024, Africa is emerging as one of the fastest-growing global markets with a significant increase in both international and domestic travel, while Nigeria stands out as the top destination of choice for foreign visitors seeing a surging 30% increase in inbound travel compared to the pre-pandemic period. As more airlines extend their network of direct flights to the African continent, the growing demand is predicted to reach new peaks throughout 2025 and beyond, which Dreamport’s travel agents also contribute to significantly. And although Nigeria’s unemployment rate had dropped to 3.1% in 2023*, among young adults it is still twice as high**. Thus, with the rapid development of digital technologies and with remote setting becoming more common across the globe, servicing as a freelance travel manager is a smart solution for those looking for more flexibility and independence on day-to-day basis.

Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt are the leading Nigerian cities most contracted travel freelancers come from, while India, the Philippines, Ghana, and the United States are among the most popular international destinations serviced Dreamport customers from around the world choose to fly to, with the US and Canada standing out as the top departure points. Domestic travel across Nigeria is also rising in popularity contributing to almost 43% of all flight booking requests. As a result, a total of over 10,000 ticket leads have been processed to date across the traditional leisure tourism and the emerging visiting-friends-and-relatives segment.

Dreamport is accepting new applications for its Independent Travel Manager program. Interested individuals from anywhere in Nigeria and over 200 other countries globally are invited to visit the Dreamport website to learn more about the program and sign up for free: https://www.dreamport.me/.

By focusing on these practical changes, he hopes to make Trevolution’s product offerings more responsive to customer needs and ultimately elevate the customer experience.

“The current roster of Trevolution’s products is strong and well-positioned, it needs a bit of time and focused guidance, and I’m sure we will win over the hearts of travelers worldwide not just with the top-of-the-line customer service we provide across our lineup, but also with useful functionalities, ancillary services and other innovations that will slowly but surely transform the way we think about travel,” explains Davit.

In 2025, Trevolution Group will focus on expanding its market presence and enhancing mobile applications, following the alignment of its product teams and workflows. The group also envisions incorporating features like money transfers and cryptocurrency payments within the app, catering to clients who frequently visit friends and family abroad.

Dreamport has been developed as a comprehensive digital platform that enables freelancers to become contracted Independent Travel Managers, making it easier to earn freelance income in the travel industry while tackling employment challenges in developing regions.

Our mission is to train and empower these professionals, so they deliver exceptional travel experiences to our wide customer base without geographical limitations.

I am particularly excited seeing strong interest from Nigeria and India, where growth-focused travel professionals are joining us in large numbers. This is a big step toward transforming the travel industry and making it more accessible for everyone”, Alex Weinstein, founder of Dyninno Group and Trevolution Group comments.

Skylux Travel Now Accepts Crypto Payments for Enhanced Flight Bookings

Meeting the growing demand for alternative payment methods, the leading American high-end travel company Skylux Travel has introduced a new digital payment option powered by Triple-A, offering its customers the option to book flights in cryptocurrency. It is a safe solution that enhances the flight booking process and offers next-level convenience to tech-savvy travelers using the most popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin and others. Following the launch with Skylux Travel, Trevolution Group anticipates expanding this initiative to include additional travel brands within its portfolio and projects an annual increase of $50+ million in gross booking revenue from flights purchased using cryptocurrency.

As the global travel landscape evolves, cryptocurrency has gained notable popularity as a payment method, including the billion-dollar “Travel and Hospitality” industry where it is used for booking flights, hotels, and rental cars. The number of global cryptocurrency owners has increased by 6.4% in the first half of 2024, rising from 580 million in December 2023 to 617 million by June 2024.* This payment method is particularly common among younger generations that are more open to new financial technologies – today, millions of people own cryptocurrency in their digital wallets. Therefore, the travel industry is quickly adapting to this increasing demand, with Skylux Travel leading the way in the luxury travel segment, powered by Triple A.

To book flights using cryptocurrency, Skylux Travel customers select their preferred digital currency at the checkout and complete the payment safely, processed by Triple A. The exchange rate is calculated based on the flat value at checkout and is locked, guaranteeing that both the buyer and Skylux are protected from any volatility risk. Once the payment is sent and instantly confirmed on the blockchain network, the booking process will be completed, and confirmation will be sent via email, including flight tickets and booking details. Next to traditional credit card transactions, the most popular cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USD Coin and more are accepted. In case customers have any questions about the payment process, Skylux Travel support team is on hand to assist 24/7. By managing the full payment journey, including necessary KYC and compliance checks, accepting digital currency, and handling crypto-to-fiat conversion, Triple A enables Skylux Travel to channel its efforts into enhancing customer satisfaction.

“With crypto transactions now becoming more popular and providing a high level of security and privacy, we are excited to offer Skylux Travel customers an option to pay for air travel in crypto. Following this launch, we anticipate expanding the scope of crypto-supported payments to include additional travel brands within our portfolio. I strongly believe that this innovation will empower our clients to use their digital assets even more efficiently, while enjoying the finest luxury travel experiences they deserve,” Daniel Lei, EVP at Trevolution Group, commented.

“Digital currency adoption within the travel sector is growing, as customers seek flexibility and innovation in the payment options they are offered. Our partnership with Skylux Travel allows us to cater to this demand while setting a new standard for convenience and security in luxury travel,” said Eric Barbier, CEO of Triple-A.

Over the years, Dyninno (short for Dynamic Innovations) has developed and implemented cutting-edge technology solutions across its extensive product portfolio that covers three sectors. Through its businesses, the Group helps travelers instantly get the best airline fares, casting professionals quickly find talent, individuals and corporations manage investments, and businesses handle payments from anywhere in the world. Instead of talent outsourcing, Dyninno Group is known for its strong internal knowledge, ensuring the highest-quality approach to business operations, as well as customer service.

Since the early days, travel has been the Group’s core business, and last year, Dyninno’s travel division, Trevolution Group, hit a major milestone, exceeding one billion USD in gross bookings. While rapidly expanding its global operations, Trevolution Group amplified its existing product ecosystem and successful integration of New Distribution Capability (NDC) into its operations. This strategic advancement enables the company to access a wider variety of content and offers from its airline partners, enhancing its capacity to deliver tailored solutions to clients. By integrating NDC with existing Global Distribution System (GDS) capabilities, the company is positioned to offer even more comprehensive travel options and ensure a seamless booking experience.

Dyninno Group’s travel division has also made a notable investment in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) for internal corporate travel, highlighting its dedication to minimizing environmental impact.

After the pandemic, the Group has transformed its business operating even more efficiently and scaling to a broader scope. Thus, the past two years have seen a significant transition from Trevolution Group’s signature call-to-book business model to the online space to meet the diverse needs of both private and corporate clientele. By blending a personal approach with technology-driven features, the Trevolution Group aims to further enhance its customer experience and drive profit to remarkable heights.

“As we celebrate 20 years of Dyninno Group, I am incredibly proud of what we as a team achieved worldwide. To further strengthen this objective, Dyninno is set on continuous expansion and plans to launch new offices in the near future, extending its reach to better serve the rapidly growing customer base globally.

The Philippines Sets New Records as Trevolution Group’s Top Performing Market

Trevolution Group, the global travel industry leader operating ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, Triplicity, Dreamport, and other major travel brands, has announced a stable 10% growth in flight sales across the Philippines during the first half of 2024, repeatedly highlighting this robust market as one of the leading travel destinations for international airline passengers. A total of over 90,000 airline tickets have been sold across traditional leisure tourism, as well as the emerging visiting-friends-and-relatives (VFR) segment, resulting in more than 120 million USD in gross bookings, or almost 20% of the company’s overall gross profit during the six months period of the current year.

  • Gross travel bookings, which refers to the total dollar value, generally inclusive of taxes and fees, amounted to 120.62 million USD, accounting for 19.8% of the Group’s total gross profit;
  • The number of unique tickets issued reached 90,181, increasing by 9.6% vs. H1 2023;
  • Economy class constituted 98.5% of all flight bookings and went up in demand by 9.6%;
  • The share of round-trip tickets increased by 2.5% and amounted to 79.7% of all tickets sold.

Historically, the Philippines has been a top travel choice for the Group’s air passengers, and currently, the demand for transpacific flights departing from the country is also growing significantly and surpassing the levels seen before the pandemic. Thus, in the first six months of 2024, Trevolution Group has reported a 48.3% increase in outbound tourism compared to the same travel period last year, which indicates the market’s rapid recovery and progressive economic growth. Today, more Filipino travelers choose foreign destinations that are closer to home or prefer to travel domestically showing almost a threefold increase in flights taken across the country compared to the first half of 2023. Family-friendly destinations and extended weekend trips are stealing the spotlight while simultaneously boosting the local tourism sector.

According to the Philippines Department of Tourism (DOT), the country received over 3.32M international visitor arrivals from January to July of this year with over 15% increase from the same travel period in 2023. As a result of constantly improving travel infrastructure and connectivity, as well as the active promotional campaign efforts, DOT sees a positive trajectory for the country’s international tourist arrivals, and the Philippines travel sector is set to break new records by the end of the year.

According to ticket sales from the Philippines, air passengers tend to do more last-minute decisions and, therefore, only less than one-third of all travelers buy their tickets over three months in advance compared to almost the same 26% share in the first half of last year, while almost 15% choose to do it up to 10 days in advance showing a slight 3% increase in last-minute bookings from H1 of 2023.

“Our objectives for the Philippines this year are very ambitious – we are now focusing on a local expansion and active hiring, expecting to gain over a thousand people in Cebu and over 500 in Manilla. To provide more value for the market, we are now working on offering our travel products to the local clientele, including introduction of the financial options to help finance air travel. Additionally, our team is excited to launch a new product, the all-in-one travel super-app Dreampass, designed to further enhance customer engagement,” commented Alex Weinstein, founder of Dyninno Group of Companies.

Trevolution Group, which operates International Travel Network, ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Dreamport, Oojo, and other travel brands, has established itself as the market leader in the travel business, specializing in the visiting friends and relatives’ segment. Over 840,000 unique airline tickets and vacation packages were sold by the companies under the Trevolution Group brand in 2023, making it the fourth-largest airline ticket consolidator in the US.

India Emerges as the Top Travel Destination for Trevolution Group

Trevolution Group, the global travel industry leader operating ASAP Tickets, Skylux Travel, Oojo, Triplicity, Dreamport, and other major travel brands, reports selling over 54,000 airline tickets to and from India in the first half of 2024, indicating a 46% growth across the market compared to the same period last year. The numbers position India as the top travel destination for international airline passengers in both traditional leisure tourism and visiting-friends-and-relatives (VFR) segment.

  • Gross travel bookings, which refers to the total dollar value, generally inclusive of taxes and fees, amounted to 64.46 million USD, indicating a 3% increase comparing to the first six months of 2023 and account for 10.1% of the Group’s total gross profit;
  • The number of unique tickets issued reached 54,625, increasing by 45.6% vs. H1 2023;
  • Economy class constituted 88.7% of all flight bookings and went up in demand by 50.6%;
  • The share of round-trip tickets increased by 11% and amounted to 54.6% of all tickets sold.

For years, India has been a popular hotspot for international travelers and currently, the demand for transpacific flights has soared well above pre-pandemic levels. With growing travel confidence and economic development, outbound tourism has risen significantly.

Increased flight connectivity is driving more international travelers to India, with Hyderabad, alongside Delhi and Mumbai, showing a rapid 31% growth from H1 in 2023. Trevolution Group’s latest business results show that during the past six months Hyderabad contributed to 15% of the total flight tickets sold to and from the largest airports across India.

“India remains a key market for Trevolution Group, consistently demonstrating strong growth in air travel year after year. It was also one of the first markets to rebound to pre-pandemic levels by 2021. With the Indian government’s objectives to boost tourism, as highlighted in the Union Budget, we anticipate even stronger growth in air travel to and from the region in the coming years,” Alex Weinstein, the Founder of Dyninno Group commented.
