Ticketing Agent (GDS)

Customer Support / Egypt, Cairo

Responsibilities:

  • Process air documents through GDS, process all amendment types as well as processing refunds with accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Read, interpret and apply airline’s agreements/Deals. 
  • Provide technical assistance to sales/Support representatives via chat or email. 
  • Process sales through back-office, received through different channels. 
  • Provide feedback on work processes for areas of improvement. 
  • Monitor progress towards achievement of plans. 
  • Follow up on pending cases. 
  • Interact with different consolidators/airline representatives. 
  • Execute specific tasks assigned by Leaders/Managers. 
  • Communicate with the airlines/suppliers to get the needed waivers if applicable. 
  • Perform other duties assigned by direct manager.  

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience.  
  • Good knowledge of the Travel industry is a must.  
  • Different GDS’s knowledge (Sabre, Amadeus, Apollo) is a plus.  
  • Communication and Presentation skills. 
  • Planning and Organizing Skills.  
  • Customer Orientation. 
  • Team Player. 
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Problem-solving skills. 
  • Negotiation skills. 
  • Patience, compassion and empathy. 

Compensation:

10,000 Net salary + KPIs in USD
