The role is of a Technical Project Manager who will play an integral part in the development of our existing facilities and to set a new benchmark on the market. Our mission is to maximise people’s potential.
Responsibilities
Technology
Develop the software in accordance with the requirements of functionality, quality and resource requirements, by configuring the development environment and writing the program code in accordance with the design and coding guidelines.
Be responsible for technical design and solution including the approach and developed code by the team.
Be responsible for Monitoring, Debugging, Deployment and Support of the released systems.
Work with team members to solve their day-to-day technical problems through advice and knowledge sharing.
Lead the team to follow development process including writing unit test cases & performing code reviews.
Chalk out the learning plan for new members. Work with them for onboarding and needed skills training.
Ensure the preparation of the technical documentation.
Identify improvements to the developed system and work with the PM to break them down into workable units.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and find opportunities to apply them.
Collaborate with other technical teams to share knowledge. Promote best practices within the team.
Process
Be responsible for providing updates to the business stakeholders in the project on agreed timely schedules.
Be responsible for Estimations, Scope, and Priority of Work assignments.
Establish and Manage development process for team collaboration.
Collaborate with stakeholders to assess project risks and develop mitigation steps.
Ensure optimal time utilisation of the team by monitoring and managing work pipeline.
Identify resource needs in the projects and work with Director & HR to onboard resources.
People
Determine and define clear deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for the team members.
Remove impediments to team members’ work, involving other units, if necessary.
Work with HR and Director to recruit highly skilled employees as per the team’s needs.
Perform regular performance reviews and share feedback.
Be responsible for the team’s work schedule including work from home and leaves.
Responsible along with HR in the area of discipline within the team.
Responsible for Team motivation and Retention. Take steps to create an open and productive environment within the team.
Create career paths for individual team members and mentor them to grow.
Identify the team’s learning needs and plan for required training, contributing to their growth.
Product
Be a bridge between the Product Owners and Engineering team.
Translate business requirements into PRDs (Product Requirement Document) and Jira tasks in the form of Epics and Stories.
Be the owner of Product Roadmap and work with engineering team on Planning and Release.
Help engineering team with day-to-day clarifications on Product requirements.
Plan and Conduct User Acceptance Testing with key stakeholders.
Coach and Work with the matrix team (Product Owners, Design, Development, Quality assurance) to ensure consistent product understanding.
Requirements
Organise workshops for involved teams to gain domain knowledge.
Excellent verbal & written communication and collaboration skills.
Education: BE , B.tech , MCA or any equivalent degree
